I'm in for the orgy but we have to get... chicks as well... So, seriously, Japan is handling is very well. After suffering an 8.9 earthquake (which is apocalyptic) and countless tsunami waves they are still calm and there have been reported a little over 1000 deaths. As tragic as that sounds we have...

Well, no one says we have to take baths in depleted uranium. Plus nuclear fusion is on the way, I think there's some heavy research going on in Europe but it's going to be ready in about 40 years, google might just come up with their own technology n fusion though: http://video.google.com/videoplay?...

electric cars? and they're clean you say? two points: you still have to MAKE that car, guess what that does? HOW do you think you get the electricity to put in the car? electricity powered cars just work on a nicely stored amount of energy, how you get the energy is quite another. Yeah but a steam ...

I think that's pushing it a bit or at least I think America is roughly done with it's slavery problems. Actually I think there's too much positive discrimination, though I don't live there so I could be way off. Plus, they can't help it if brown people have oil :) plus, if there are no terrorists to...

If you're sure the headphones are fine then the stereo jack in the ipod is broken. You can try to insert the headphones and move move them a bit in the jack, that might clear up the inside of the jack, it could simply be dirty not broken. If it is broken it just needs to be replaced, you can search ...

Re: Does Earth Day (and Earth Hour) actually save energy?

Now I'm not sure if Earth Hour is taking the power grid bellow the base line, but if it does we're actually doing more harm than good. Interesting! I actually believe in this one. You should, I study power engineering (so I know what I'm talking about) and what reason could I possibly have to lie t...

tell me which alienware, and i'll give you a comparable machine for less money. no customization on the motherboard, that's crap anyway. WC is nice, if you want it, but the alienware WC ain't too good, might as well get regular air cooling for that quality. leds in the case are pretty much free wit...

. That's why I would justify buying an Alienware PC, I wouldn't feel the need to upgrade it for at least 4 years up untill that you had me. alienware pcs spend a lot of effort in looks, costing plenty of energy, and they're always incredibly overpriced for what they offer. get the parts yourself an...

Re: Ran dumb DrUnKArd BluRTS

I'm sick of trying to be for one girl. That always turns out a dissapointment. Yes, yes it does. I'm still hopeful that the world isn't this fucked up but generally being a good, faithful guy means you'll end up getting hurt. As opposed to this "bad" guys get to screw all the girls they w...

Another useful thing to do is to stop replacing shit so often. The Land Rover Defender is one of the most eco friendly cars out there, sure older models don't even have an Euro standard for pollution but 75% of all the Defenders ever made are still being used. That good because making a car uses up ...

Does Earth Day (and Earth Hour) actually save energy?

I know the purpose is to make people aware of climate change and let everyone know that using more power than you need is bad for the planet. However last year people actually put out their lights for earth hour. I have two issues with this: 1. People turn off their lights for a short time and feel ...

Windows 7 is almost as fast as XP, even faster in some situations. It's stable, especially now since a ton of updates came out and the interface rocks.

It even works fairly well on my Aspire One netbook.

I'm with Voly on this one. I'm probably the only person I've ever meet in real life who knows the three parts that Romania is roughly divided into by the carpathian mountains - Transylvania (formerly known as Dacia), Wallachia, and Moldavia. Actually Romania is formally known as Dacia, in 105 AD th...

Nothing too radical ever happens here, even the neo natzi are a wee bit docile, they do a concert and on the way home they might find a gypsi that's alone and kick his ass (though not too hard). though I recognize that the gypsies ("roma") supposedly are concentrated around that area. This...
