Logging In...

...Has become a serious problem. Every time I try to log in (on both Firefox and IE), I am immediately logged out, then successfully logged in the second attempt, but all threads are marked read.

Is this an issue on my side? Does MD need a cleanup? WASABIIII?

It's happened to me before on several tries. And it's annoying as fuck, because instead of just viewing all new posts, I gotta go through each forum to find out which threads have gotten replies.

MD is my home page, and I had it set to automatically log me in. After a few tries at that, I just stopped being lazy and started to log in manually every time. It hasn't happened since I started doing that.

I just calibrate my forum clock and then figure out what I missed since the last time I logged on, approximately.

Yep; http and everything.

I "accept third party cookies" "until they expire".

I don't have problems logging in. I just have ridiculously long load times.

Neither. I adblocked the flash thing in the corner that I had to load every time I loaded a page, and I've never had any problems at all logging in.

AUG - You're using a celly, right? I tried that once, and gave up.

That too. And it isn't so bad when my phone connects to wireless instead of using 3G, but I'm referring to my computer. Which has ridiculously fast internet. Plus I've tried it in other locations with other computers. I just get really bad load times.

That used to happen to me all the time. I found that the odds of it happening increased exponentially with each subsequent log-in until I cleared my cookies and other private data. The first time logging in after clearing my cookies and private data, I never encounter the problem. I always clear everything every time I'm on the internet, so that I don't run into this problem.

I don't exit out of my browser every time I shut off my internet connection. I just close all my tabs.

I wiped cookies a while ago and it made no difference.
