i wish, no cash.

gonna be playing it one way or another sooner or later tho.
loved fallout 1 and 2, tactics as mediocre.
i hope it's not gonna be the dissapointment oblivion was, seeing as beth went way too shallow with that, whole amount of nothing.
i heard the feel of the game fits the originals though, so i've good hopes.

I was planning to buy it this week but I will only have enough money for one game until Christmas so my money's going towards Left 4 Dead. I wanna pick that up before it looses steam.

I haven't heard from one of my friends since he got it.
He's addicted and all he'll tell me about it is that "It's awesome."

variations on a theme, checked some of the others, none are really statisfactory.
really though, i'm mostly bummed you can't keep playing, it's not as if the world stops after it.
hell, i checked, and most of the other endings are even worse.

edit:
the thing that bothers me most at all though, is a sign of sheer idiocy by the devs, that i can't really put here without spoiler tags, this board have it?

yeah that was a pretty shit ending, way too short and there aren't so much different endings than there is different scenes in the same ending.

but fuck, the game world is awesome to just immerse yourself in, and lots to explore.

Tis an epic game.

Although i had off turn of the ingame background music, reminded me to much of morrowind.

Many people that loved the first two parts were disappointed from this one.

Many people that didn't like Oblivion that much were disappointed by Fallout 3 being to similar to it.

I've played neither games.

i played both.
both are decent games in their own right, both are a downer if you' ve epxerienced the games before it.
get it, judge for yourself.
i liked it, but it wasn't something i'm gonna go back to, i think, unless the modding takes off.

Yeah, I played Morrowind and I couldn't play Oblivion for more than a half hour at a time.

I haven't played any of the fallout games. I'll rent it or something.

The Fallout games are amazing and actually stand the test of time

Ive played them all, even the new one.
the new one is just alittle bit too much like morrowind

I'd say it's more like Oblivion than morrowind. I was surprised they kept so much from the Oblivion engine into F3, even the little charge you can do with your melee weapon.

I liked oblivion, with mods. I didn't like the fact on morrowind your fatigue went to shit after 2 swings. I couldn't kill a rat with my lvl 5 rougue. My Oblivion char, on the other hand, I kick ass with..

Your strength must've sucked on Morrowind. Either that or you just plain sucked at playing it. I pwned it.
