fallout 3

No offense to you Daemon
They made oblivion alot more accessible to people by making it easier to develop your character. Morrowind had so much micro management that sometimes it made even me sick.
And Eschatos you are 100% correct
They kept way too much of the little oblivion quirks in fallout 3, even the glitchy animations of the people.
But other than that. they stayed very true to fallout 1 and 2's feel and enviroment
(except i wish they would have changed the dialog system from oblivion)

It's not a bad game at any standard, but it is basically an Oblivon mod. But I liked Oblivion so I can't really say anything negative about this game.
Is there a promised land
Or am I on the journey going to nowhere?
Are the streets paved with gold
Or am I slipping on the mold that slowly grows there?

I can see why people who played the first ones dont like it, but they seem to be mostly tedious reasons, and ive played them all ( cept xbox1 1) and thought it was awesome. 1's the best, go play it!
Dont think bethesda coulda done much with the plot without someone thinking its shit, so they kinda didnt bother but i everything else ive seen is pretty sweet and im on my second run through. Hopefully they'l develop the story more in DLC's.
Aint played Oblivion so couldnt say, kinda glad i didnt now, But morrowind fucking rocked, kinda, it got a bit tedious and repetative for a while, and all that fucking walking reminded me of lord of the rings. But twas a good game for all the other reasons i didnt say. Cept the people animations.

bull, they're in the game, use them.
i generally play a game without cheats, and try to run every game without cheats at least once, but for general play, i prefer practicality.
if a game is so big it takes ages to walk across, and it's put in ways to get across fast, i see no reason to complain.
however, if i want to walk, but am impatient, i could just use the console, then set it back later, see it as a bonus.
much like the cheats in gta, without it, it wouldn't be half the game.
and hell, with morrowind, if you don't like the slowness, are not willing to use silt striders to travel, but are willing to download, you could just download a mod, there's ridable guar, horses, even dragons.

Music over Matter
a mod for morrowind.... that lets you ride DRAGONS?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
Reinstalling now!
I dont cheat the first time i play a game, think its gotta be played the way it was programmed to be played, but any subsequent time i will if i want to piss about.
But i dont think you can say youve completed a game if you end up cheating.

Ya, i remember when i was like 8 or 9 or something playing half life, my most favourite game and started using cheats ( AFTER completing the game of course
)
Using noclip and in my childish nievity thinking i would be able to walk through all the locked doors and continue to explore blackmesa.
Damn was i gutted.
Messed up graphics whilst falling to my death.
One day i'l map out the entire facility, once i figure out how to map.
@AZGARTH.
No way dude, you can interperet books/games etc which ever way you want, but in most cases the writer has decided on what message they want to get across. It just depends if you pick up on it or not.

@Topic
Finally got around to playing it.
I will say that it is without a doubt worth all the hype, awards, everything that it got. It may be Oblivion with guns, but FO3 is twice the game Oblivion could've hoped to be. I'd say more creativity went into FO3 than ES4, and I've always always always been a fan of post-apocalypse-themed stuff.
