BORDERLANDS

It amazes me that I didn't hear about this from ANYONE, considering it is amazing so far. I've only been playing it for about two hours, but it is a meshing of my two favorite genres (FPS and RPG) without having to resort to something like VATS.

I'll probably try it.

I have been trying to load a torrent of Fall Out NV and I keep getting a " Steam error" Anyone have a suggestion?

Steam games are extremely hard to crack as far as I know. They always require online activation.

I DL'd it ok, just had to copy paste the crack. Easy as pie, works no problem. Maybe you should try a different torrent site?

from what i gather she's got the right torrent, but is running the steam installer on the image, which ain't the one you want.

anybody try the NV DLC btw?

OT; borderlands is fun, think what'd happen if you mix diablo with serious sam. you NEED to do it online though, it's one of the few games (diablo being another) that i'd only really play online.

Nah, it just came out rather quickly after release.

Borderlands I found to be extremely 'meh'.

Dragon age is boring me to death. I just may end up pushing it aside for now.

Yeah it looked a tad.

If your not to bothered about the fantasy setting I'd suggest the new fallout, new vegas. Although its sci-fi elements do border the fantasy at times.

If you've ever played Oblivion then you'l know how it feels to play. On that note, the new elder scrolls has just recently been announced, it's called Skyrim I believe, so if you can wait...

Otherwise I can't really advise on any fantasy games, as I haven't found one worth mentioning.

I'd like to play New Vegas...but not until it's cheaper. As for Borderlands, I've been looking at that recently with serious intent to buy, so we'll just wait and see.

Torrents....

Now we can debate if that is stealing or not.

I just got FSX up and running with a bunch of add-ons .... cost? Zero dollars ...

I just finished getting the New Vegas download. Going to try and see if I can make it work this time.

Az I will be bugging you. :_)

sure erq, you know where to find me.
oh, and downloading ain't stealing, at best its... i don't think you guys got a term for it. "broodroof".
basically means you deprive someone of their income. they don't lose anything, but they don't gain while they should.
and even that's debatable, of course. most of the games/vids/music i tried, i would never buy. and some stuff i bought because i tried it and liked it.

My computer would have no music on it if I had to buy it.
I would never go to shows if I had never heard the music.
I would have never heard the music if I had to buy it.
They would not have gotten any money if I had not downloaded it, nor would they have had my ear. I think it's a fair trade. I get an album for free, at no cost to them, and then I pay to see them live.

I'm gonna call you out on an ethical mistake here and say that spontaneous shows I have gone to for bands I did not know happened to be some of the best experiences of my life. Take a friend's word for it who has good taste.
