Get the more expensive version, it has online multiplayer.

I just finished AC2 and I CANNOT wait for this one. Thank GOD for Christmas!

It's the same thing as splinter cell: conviction

And this is just a guess; I don't know anything about this game. But I bet there's an online co-op mode just as there is in SC:C.

It's got a cooler setting and plot than SC will ever have. Unless SC sets itself in Renaissance-era Italy.

As far as I know, no co-op, but a free-for-all or challenge missions where two players compete to assassinate a target or each other.

eh?

i basically played the fuck outta this, and am finished with the singleplayer. been playing the multi but.. god, i fucking hate it at times.

i don't know what zyn is talking about (in the post above). there's no co-op, or free-for-all. there is the "wanted" mode which is: every player is assigned a target, and every player is somebody else's target. there are also team modes, alliance which is 3 2-player teams and works like wanted, and manhunt which is 2 4-player teams where the teams take turns being the hunters or the hunted.

The multiplayer is the highlight by far.

Although the matchmaking is extremely slow at times and other times it simply seems to get stuck, as in it just stops managing to find others to join the game.

The single player is pretty much AC2's except with a new city and more stuff to do, although the new stuff ranges from interesting to extremely thin.

It's good, and I bought it because I've played every one, however it does seem like AC2.7.

If it weren't for the pointless need to find out more about the story I wouldn't recommend it, unless you REALLY liked AC:2 and didn't find it repetitive.

Played AssCreed1, thought it was shit. Didn't bother with AssCreed2. Bought AssCreedBro, I like the multiplayer.

the original ass creed was pretty much shit. 2 is way better though, and brotherhood is basically a rehash of 2 with tons more shit to do (and multiplayer, which infuriates me).
