Can You Run It?

Postby Davion Fuxa » Sat Sep 24, 2011 7:19 pm

I posted this on a couple of other sites, then thought 'why not post it here?' and so this thread has been made.

Useful for determining if you can run a game or not on your computer - minimum or recommended requirements if given by the game maker; and if you can't it tells you where your computer is failing.

Due to the fact that on another forum, an instance came up that proved the above tool to not be 100% accurate; I'll make a note that it can give you a 'general idea' of whether you can play a game but don't rely on it to be entirely truthful of whether you can play or not play.

Anyhow, I did some research and if people want another tool to get a second opinion from, try the Game-o-Meter at Yougamer.

Keep in mind these sites are constantly updating with new games and the requirements for them.

The Elder Scrolls: Sykrim is one example as such update that is currently on YouGamers. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has also been added to both CanYouRunIt? and YouGamers.

While it's only for the Beta, if your looking for something along the lines of system requirements for Diablo III, check out the beta's system requirements at Blizzard:
