first off, anime rules. no, i am not an anime freak, i just like some anime. i like revolvers because they are graceful and stuff. sex i find degrading for it's own reasons. and i want to drink when i am legally able.

The only anime (Manga) I like is Battle Royale... Gratuitous bloodspray. Teenagers battling it out for the right to live. And some damn funny deaths.

Anime is pretty much adult cartoons.
America simply edits them for children to watch and take out all of the good stuff. That includes DBZ's foul-mouthed/perverted/violent scenes.
So basically all they do now is scream for half the show to power up, fight, talk a bunch of corny shit to each other and tear up a city to prove good over evil. Which is crap.

Most anime is very deeply involved with their plots, like Angel Sanctuary's religious theme/incest based on Christianity, and MGA's not bad either along with Evagelion although I'm not much for mecha anime.

Anywho, don't judge it based on what the American media hands to you.
You gotta know the whole thing originally as it really is. You either love it or like it.

fullmetal alchemist has an awesome storyline...it's really sad and slightly disturbing, like most of the stuff on mindistortion... inuasha seems to have a much more foolish storyline, which seems to be "lets run around and kill stuff"

whats sad is that big companies are tearing down old cartoons and putting up the new crap for little green pieces of paper.

That's the recipe for making something cool shit. Make it anime. Just look at bugs bunny, turtles, sonic, megaman, link and all other childhood heroes. They'll probably take Mario next.

God, I hate anime.

New Super Mario A9 (Anime-9)
Better than the older version!
New songs with chinese rock bands instead of the normal songs!

More like, Dislike the people who have changed the classics into something that seems to be alot more popular. More and more people are being introduced to anime because of shows like Toonami. It's going to be the new thing, it sells more.
That's how things work.

those god damned bastards! how evil they are! what with their peace, honor and general beliefs in solitude and individuality! who do they think they are?! it sure is a good thing we forced them to open up harbors and industrialize, otherwise they would still be those damned, quiet, heartless honorbound freaks... *drips with sarcasm*
