Geez, here I leave the general board for two days only and it has already turned into a grotesque, perverted hug orgy.

You people sicken me.

Under the spreading chesnut tree
I sold you and you sold me:
There lie they, and here lie we
Under the spreading chestnut tree.

I've never came across any family who hugs.

Well, except those crazy incest incidents.

hell yes. i have never said grace, ever. except for this one place where i was babysitting the family's kids. they thanked god for the chinese takeout. and i thought this was a sad scene. a 3 and 5 year old knew the blessing by heart, and one of them couldn't dress himself yet.

haha that's cute..

food is food.. appreciating and not disregarding the fact that they have such a 'priviledge' is an important lesson to learn. At least they're taught to have some consideration n all..

i guess it's alright, since their mom mentioned they were lucky because there are many people in the world who are starving.

I haven't ever said grace at a meal, and I don't think
my family has done it in about 10 years. It's... odd.
But I agree with Syn, its an important lesson to learn
to be thankful for what you have.

That's not what prayer is with food. When you give your god thanks it shows that you are capable of being humble. I hate people like that.

No need, I am the best thing to happen to Christianity since the Spanish Inquisition. I revel in their own faults and helpings in their eventual distruction.

Oh and...after that is Islam. Then Hindus. Then the Jews.

Ah hell I might as well mix it up. Everyone likes a lil' variety

It is my dream to make an anti-religious terrorist organization. I just want some money.

Oh, and, thanks to the Patriot Act, the government will prolly read this and come and shoot me. Cheers to King Bush!

Yep there are. (don't look at me like that) I'm not really starving but i do know it can be pretty tough.. I'm 19 and i have friends my age who alredy support their families and go through coledge at the same time... and i should get a job too... (sorry for the "cruel reality" scene)

Gravesent: yeah, the best way to be aware of what's going on is to travel. that's how my sister found out that Walmart is an evil empire across the world when she traveled to asia and europe for this course in college. she went to india and told me about homeless kids living in houses made out of cow manure.

Darky: yeah watch out, the FBI will come to your house when you're taking a nap. just like in farenheight 9/11! :o
