Welcome friend. I think we're going to get along well.

You know, it's not uncommon for Europeans to learn 3, 4, or more languages in their lifetime.

Yeah. And Americans, especially in the south (excluding syn and darklire,) are lucky if they learn one language.

indeed. i tried learning french, but since i'm never going to france, screw it. i can almost get by in a conversation...it would be broken french, like the equivalent of " i are going to of the outside"-it gets the point across, but it's not perfect.

(yes yes i know my french isn't too hot either ><' )

All popes have to be fluent in at least 9 languages, I believe. It's like a pope requirement.

@Seraph and RAWRR: I don't get why people learn french, it's a useless language unless your planning to live in france or french canada. Learn spanish instead, it'll be usefull when all the illegal imigrants from mexico take over!

 haha well i want to learn spanish but sadly i have no more freetime :B as for the french.. i have to lear it in school (duh...omg i hate french it brings down my average ><') and it will also be useful if i wanna get a job because in most parts of canada (including ontario) EVERYTHING is in french and english and to get a good paying job i beleive it is a requirement to know french. in montreal and qubec however almost everything is iin french you will have a difficult time finding something written in english (those bastards ><')

Nuh uh

Grats on your 2K posts

Americans should be learning english and spanish, because so many american cities are filled with spanish-speaking peoples. ESPECIALLY the mexican border....

But french would be useful if you visit french canada.
