I think its shitty.
I think the intro is turning into another garbage dump, spam spam spam.

Maybe then Hery will delete it entirely.

I never saw a n00b post an intro in the general even before the intro, they just start posting shit instead. Then we're like who the fuck are you? And flame them.
We still do that. Except with the intro, we post just 'hi. welcome' then flame the shit out of them for posting crap.
It works the same either way.

But we didn't have the monthly influx of noobs back then as we do nowadays. And as you can see they get increasingly stupid as time gos bye. So the intro is a kind of a buffer zone.
