Oh my, I'm new.

Postby No Ace, Just You » Sat Nov 18, 2006 12:53 am

So, righty-o.
I'm new to this spiffy place.
I have absolutly no idea what I'm doing here && I'm completely lost.
Anyways getting to the point.
My name is Jessica.
I'm really into my music ((At the moment that's Jack Off Jill, Forgive Durden, && Cute Is What We Aim For)).
I like most types of music, though I'm not to fond of country, pop, hip-hop, or rap.
I like talking, but I'm not the annoying type of person who doesn't know when to shut up ((God I hate those people.))
Umm..
I'm not afraid of standing still,
I'm just afraid of being bored.
I'm not afraid of speaking my mind,
I'm just afraid of being ignored.

Are you autistic, too?
Is there a promised land
Or am I on the journey going to nowhere?
Are the streets paved with gold
Or am I slipping on the mold that slowly grows there?

Whats up with the new fad of using puncuation twice in a row? For example: && and ((blahblahblah)). I don't understand these shananigans youngsters play on the internet.

Welcome, Ace. Check out the guidelines. :)

Probably because it illustrates stuttering, repetitiveness, gathering of ones thoughts, (not sure if this word exists but I'll use it anyway) humanizing ones words to the point where it sounds like something you hear in everyday conversation?

Me too; that doesn't mean they aren't though.

In speech I sometimes talk for a bit and then mid sentence I can't continue and have to stop myself and start again to try and say what I was saying.

Luckily on a board I don't need to worry about that.

Yea. I have to think about what I say before I say it. Sometimes I get stuck on a word that I do not know in English... That makes it really hard. And I hate to talk.
