a song could also be made specifically for a movie, without the movie, the song wouldn't be there, originates from the movie.

of course, the main part is always the artist(s ), but it's not the end-all.

It's a pretty famous line.

The main character, Hunter, is extremely tripping on LSD. He is hallucinating that a swarm of bats is attacking his vehicle and the surrounding countryside. He agrees to let his friend and attorney, Gonzo, also tripping, drive. After a while, they pass a young hippie on the side of the road, parading his thumb at their passing automobile.

"Hey, a hitchhiker! Maybe we should pick him up." (Gonzo, slowly)
"What?! We can't stop here! This is bat country." (Hunter, quickly, with clenched teeth)
