Wait, what? The country music today I would not describe as "hick." It's being performed by multi-millionaire cowboys and supermodels, so it can hardly be called "hick."

A few posts ago, when I mentioned that I hate country music, I was talking about singers like Kenny Chesney, or Montgomery Gentry. I just can't stand anything about their music.

I sneeze three times, no more, no less, almost every time I walk into the sun.

I can honestly say I did not see that coming.

Anyway, that's cool. Much appreciated.

Just exactly why, though?

The sneezing itself, or the fact that I do that?

The fact that you do that. I've never heard of anyone sneezing because of the sun before.

Reverse the 6 and 1 (now 16), add two twos for the two numbers before the two (now 20) and add three because there are three digits, and you get:

23

Sha - Srsly? Never?

Well, actually, now that I think about it, the only people I know that do that are my dad, my brother, and myself. I'm the only one that sneezes a set number of times, though.

Srsly, that one jumped at me. I haven't done that since I saw the movie a few months ago.

Oh no, math...

Myr you're the first case I've ever heard of. I wonder if it's simply in genetics? I wonder what the medical term would be.

Woo, I'm the first at something!

It does appear to be genetic, at least from the three cases gathered so far...

Have you ever seen The Number 23?

On the wiki page for it there's a little diagram thing that shows it as inherited. Then again I seem to be the only one in my family that does it.

medterms.com wrote:Photic sneeze reflex: A disorder, also known as the achoo syndrome, characterized by nearly uncontrollable paroxysms of sneezing provoked in a reflex fashion by the sudden exposure of a dark-adapted subject to intensely bright light, usually to brilliant sunlight. The number of successive sneezes is usually 2 or 3, but can be up to about 40. (The condition was once called the helio-ophthalmic outburst syndrome.)

The photic sneeze reflex is much more common than has been generally recognized. In one study it was found in 23% of medical students. The syndrome is one of the most frequent of all known genetic traits. It is inherited in an autosomal dominant manner, affecting males and females alike, who have a 50:50 chance of passing the achoo gene to each of their children who will have the disorder. The syndrome was first described in 1978.

One physician reported that he had suffered from photic sneezing for over 20 years and, having just learned of the existence of the syndrome, found that the "symptoms are more easily tolerated if you can put a name to them, even if that produces only an illusory understanding of their significance." He commented on the potential hazards of photic sneezing if it occurs while one is driving a car on a sunny day. Tunnels and shadows created by tall buildings and forested terrain can induce sneezing upon re-entering the bright sunlight.

Sha - Definitely yes, though the unrated version possessed much unnecessary sex. I'd stick with the rated version.
