The statement "my friend Rebecca made me" is different from the statement "my friend Rebecca told me to."
Being made to do something requires active presence of the coercer, or an act of blackmail, and the word itself implies completion and confirmation of the act.
Being told to do something only requires recommendation or unenforced demand, and does not imply verification of the act.

If someone told me to do something multiple times, I'd consider that making me do it (circumstances, of course, do have an effect).
So would at least some other people.

1. Looking through the posts and thinking logically, I agree that the odds of Alfons and Rebecca being one and the same are slim to none. The slim being that whoever it is just wants to screw with us. In which case they win.
