Never eat sushi after wisdom teeth extraction.
I found it an apt title for an introduction thread, at any rate. Join, share valuable life advice with the masses. Or somesuch nonsense like that. The rice gets stuck in the holes in the back of your mouth, and you can't just brush those out... it's a nightmare. Wait three weeks. Yeah.
Anyway, I'm Leisel (yes, think Sound of Music, ugh.), otherwise known across the web as ProjectTORN. It's the name I use for all my accounts across the internet. ProjectTORN is derived from the novel I believe I've been destined to write since sixth grade, if I could ever be satisfied with my writing. The working title was Project: Torn. Please, let's not confuse Torn with Porn, as that gets quite irritating.
I'm by no small means new; I've just never believed I had time to join the MINDistortion forum. I've been lurking about for years, terrorizing my school with records of my visits to the site. Haha. They never understood any of it.
Anyway, that's the basics. Ask me whatever you will, and I'll answer. I like to keep it simple, and somewhat open in that respect. I'll attempt to keep the negativity/pessimism to a minimum.
Also, I like long words. Floccinaucinihilipilification, hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia, and evisceration are my all time favorites. Yes, I can spell them. Yes, I know what they mean.
Cheers,
-L

Mm, could be a possibility. At one time, it had quite a following in grade school. It all depends on, 1. If I can find it, and 2. If I've destroyed it.
I don't think I've destroyed it; however, I do have some shorter, more easily accessible material at hand. Once I get some time, I shall surely put them up.
Right now, it's 1:41 AM my time, the idiot box is on, the mom-person is snoring behind me, along with a cat and dog. Not the most comfortable time to post, see?
Edit: Any particular reason for the deep breath, there?

Heh. Well, if it's any consolation to you, I've never completely lost interest in Neopets (yes, you have permission to call me lame) after seven years. I was on there gaming for awhile today.
And I reccommend sleep. Humans die if deprived of sleep for about 10-12 days. I can't remember right now how long it takes for a lab rat to die of sleep deprivation. Wait. Nevermind. It's 17 days.

You'd be surprised, the things they've changed. Neocash? The devil's that? And the changes with the games... what they've gotten rid of. Classics! It's terrible. I can't keep up with it all anymore, but sometimes I try.
I wish I hadn't sold off my collection of coffees and teas. Ah well. Such is life.

Neopets is fine with me, I was their for a little while but lost interest. Most sites like that, I loose interest pretty quickly, something about them...I just can't connect. Maybe it's the loss of morality.
I have been diagnosed with insomnia. Nothing really helps, so don't worry about me sleeping.
Oh, before I forget, no religion talks here. It's not that we hate religion, but the issue of it has been long debated and only ends in fighting. Topics such as that are normally dumped.

Haha.
Nah. Being athiest, I have a tendency not to discuss religion. Though as a funny side fact, I was in the Catholic school system for twelve years. In senior year, we were taught world religions for a semester. The class as a whole decided to turn Buddhist within two weeks. XD Even I had to admit a few benefits of Buddhism. But nah. My only god is Coffee. And I do mean that seriously.

Me, I'll take anything. These days I'll take a dark roast, no cream, fake sugar optional. I've never met a flavor I haven't enjoyed.
But I love Greek coffee, Turkish coffee, espresso, everything. Nothing too dressed up. I'm a bit of a purist with my coffee. I don't believe in cream. I went on a tour of Italy and Greece for two weeks and had some of the best, purest, strongest coffee of my life. I may very well have to give up my US citizenship and move to Rome, or Athens. After that trip, I have little appreciation for this watered down piss Americans call coffee.
I've been a proud coffee addict since age six. In two months it will be my 13th anniversary.
