you used to have that almost-stickfigure bashing his head to a bloody pulp on the keyboard as an avatar right? in that case it fits.

i came up with azgarth years ago, half my lifetime or so, kinda stuck with it.

oh, and VB, if that's really your reasoning, your name is fairly pretentious with little to show for it.
you're decent, but by no means badass.

I'm egocentric and narcissistic. I gave myself the name, based on how I view myself.

That, and Frosty suggested it.

I've yet to find a name I really liked.

I was thinkin' about changin' it to SpaceApe, but I dunno.

No body can really have a bad name.
People come up with their name because...
It tells alot about that person.

Oh you would be surprised.

Anyway, if youve decided to stick around you should post in general discussion, thats sort of where most things happen. Intro topics dont live forever.

That's a bit rude to welcome a new member and to make fun of their user name. It was her choice to make it up her own. Who cares if she's 'emo'? Labels are labels, always will be no matter what, but you shouldn't pick on somebody just 'because' their name sucked in your opinion. It's still not right to judge someone by their user name before you've actually had a conversation with that person, then you make your decision.

@BabyVamp: But they do have a point about the way you type your sentences though- it kinda sounds like your fading off and when i read forums or whatever someone has typed, it should sound like a sentence, not like as if your fading away like as if you were actually speaking to someone.

XD VB don't be a twat.

weewee, if someone advertises imbicility, we're all free to call her on it, just as much as she is to ignore us being fuckwits and go about as she pleases, within the bounds of the rules.
it's not so much the name, it's the reason behind it, and the person that choses such a name, that aggravates and irritates some of us.
the name is just part of it, sentence structure, maturity of ideas, stuff like that, it's all one coherent bunch, and a bunch not all here like.

I am free to express what my opinion is as well, either even if it involves making fun or sticking up for someone, even though if my last comment was wasted.

You're free to call me a M-Fing Dickwad.

This forum is, for the most part, pretty open-minded about opinions.

Aw damnit. I had made a post earlier, but a while later the page wouldn't connect the posting page. I had hopped it was still made.

You're free to post your thoughts and opinions, but this is a public forum with little ruling. As said before, most people who use the term "emo" in their name, consider this a site to post and whine about their troubles. We don't care; we would encourage their mind bent on suicide. I'm sure the seniors members, and those who currently post, will agree that most new members are flamed within their first few days to weeks. That does not apply to some members who make good intros, and actually strive to do well in posting on the forum.
For all we know humans are just weapons created by the world.

@Weeweekins: firstly: GYAHH! DONT POST UNNEEDED STATEMENTS IN OLD THREADS! Secondly, we usually pick on every new person for one or two days. Its just an MD thing.

hmm, i contest that we haze people just to haze em, it's more being extremely nitpicky.
weewee had a decent intro post, IIRC she didn't get any flac, for example.

I think it sucked. My original intro was almost as awful as Frosty's.
