Yea, I'm new, if you havn't already guessed, and I'm on this site at the urging of Faust. Personally, although this seems like a pretty good site, this isn't my thing and I'm just adapting as I go.

The statement, "I am a stigma," was, in my interpretation, metonymic to mean, "Association with me is a stigma," or "Those who associate with me bear me as their stigma."
