Fair enough, you seem to have followed the guidelines and you've got a good post. Nice to meet you, and I like your motto.

I don't know if that would be considered a "good post".

Okay, an acceptable post then. That fits better.

Massive run-on sentences of doom wreak havoc with my mind. Really, you're shoving approximately three sentences together before you add a period as an afterthought.

Welcome, I guess.

Closing quotations!

AAH! Okay, that whole post made me miserable, but I HATE when people don't close their quotes.

Punk =/= Hardcore

There are no hardcore rockers.

Skateboarding*

I give up, I'm not even supposed to correct shit but my eyes are leaking, and I'll never read your posts again until you fix how you type.

Welcome, stick around.

Punk is mellower than Hardcore. Hardcore has breakdowns, punk has bridges. I'm just a genre nazi.

i think someone needs a history lesson.

i'm this forum's foremost genre nazi for a reason.

i don't even think that's what the new kid was referring to though.

I know hardcore CAME FROM punk. I came from my mother yet ME =/= my mother. We have similarities, but they're not the same.

As far as the ____-core genres, I can basically nazi as well as the rest of 'em.

saying hardcore isn't punk is like saying any subgenre of metal isn't metal.

Hardcore's not a subgenre of punk. It's a genre which is heavily influenced by punk. Like nu metal is influenced by metal, but god forbid anyone actually call it metal.

*facepalm*

hardcore is a subgenre of punk. if you think any different, you are wrong.

and i've always said nu-metal has absolutely nothing to do with metal, it wasn't even influenced by metal, it was more influenced by grunge than anything.
