I'm not so sure, those do look fake, blood is darker and the knife, if you notice, has almost no blood on it. for that many cuts, it should've been covered.

Blood changes colour as it oxidizes and reacts with the air, so while it's literally just clotting, it will be ruby red. Just check ze wiki. Also there is some basic biology to back this up. You ever pricked your finger on something? Then it'll darken. About the lack of blood: there won't be much pouring everywhere when there isn't much traveling right up to the surface of the skin.

I'm with voly on this one, I've seen people cut themselves before, and it doesn't look like that. The blood doesn't change color to brigh red, it gets darker as it clots. That's why scabs are almost brownish.
