I always wondered if nostalgia happens because things (like music for example) aren't what they used to be or simply because humans have difficulty adapting to new things.

I personally remember the good things a lot better than the bad.

May have something to do with the fact that although I pretend not to, I have an optimistic personality and mostly see the good in things.

to the present, i always seem to look back on it like im an old man
