But I always thought pretty much every other branch hated the marines, and it was a two-way street.

Marines are the first to get killed. Thats what I was told by an Afghan vet, and I see truth in it... they're so under-equipped.

They are. First in, last out. The go out so the ARMY knows where the enemy is. They are the toughest motherfuckers in the US Military, for the most part.
