MMkay.

1. Read the forum rules.

2. You punctuate and capitalize. Congrats!

There's hope for you, so stick around. There's just one thing that is a MAJOR pet peeve of mine. You don't space after your punctuation. It's not -that- big of a deal, but it makes me cringe.

Post more, jump on in!

I'm a nazi when it comes to people calling things hardcore. What do you call hardcore? (Hint: None of the bands in your poll fall under the hardcore genre. Although a couple do fall into subgenres of hardcore, but I consider those closer to metal anyway.)

bring me the horizon is hardcore to my soft wittle ears, but perhaps it's just annoying and incomprehensible.

Hardcore is a genre. Just because a music is heavy, does not mean it is hardcore. Especially that heavy.

We have a winner. Popular in comparison to other hardcore bands? Kids Like Us, Comeback Kid, Casey Jones, some older ones like Minor Threat and Sick Of It All.

I knew that, it's just, I thought that Three Days Grace was more of a rock band. (Now don't get mad at me for this! I am terrible with placing the newer music into genres because it all sounds similar to me.)

Oh! Sorry Wayne, I thought it was (after all, it was following my very ignorant post). Although I will be completely honest, the vast majority of this new music sounds the same to me nowadays. It's hard for me to know what is what genre anymore.

Uh...NOT hardcore. I was NOT implying that. Three Days Grace is more of a Pop Rock, and, admittedly, a little Emo, but so little that I don't give a fuck. Metal in their older albums, more Rock, Hard Rock now.

Three Days Grace is a lot emo. Kind of just "rock" in genre, although that's not one of my areas of expertise as far as genres go.

Also, Wayne was ALSO saying TDG is NOT hardcore.
