Funny thing is I don't try at all. That's how I dress, whether or not anyone around me thinks it looks like shit or not. Fuck em. I like to be comfortable, and that's what I'm comfortable in. I get quite a few compliments but they don't go to my head. Grow up man. Being a dick gets you what?

Also, I know plenty of people who don't like being overly dressed, so they have minimal buttons done up, and sleeves rolled up and things like that all the time. No need to be a douche bag about it guys. Admittedly most of my shirts-mostly-unbuttoned associates tend to have the buttons in the middle done up with the ones at the top and bottom undone, which firstly avoids the "look at my chest/tattoos" effect I believe Daemon is being criticised for, and secondly stops them looking like Riley from Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
