Transferring Music
I wasn't sure whether to post this under the music or the computer section, but here it goes.
I just installed iTunes on my laptop, and I want to transfer all of my songs from the house computer's iTunes to the laptop. Does anyone know of an efficient way to do this? I'd like to avoid buying a bunch if blank CD's and moving them that way.
I am aware that purchases from iTunes will automatically transfer from one computer to another, but my question refers more to songs I have downloaded or were sent to me by friends.

Songs on PC -> Portable hard drive -> Laptop
OR do what I did
Songs on PC -> iPod -> Find a way to sneak past the iPod hiding your music files when you plug it in -> New folder on laptop

try this LINK but you need to be able to fit it all on atonce i think, which is a pain, but this way keeps your ratings play counts and everything i am pretty sure.
then once you're set up, just becsaue it is the right thing to do, go to prefrences(?) then advanced, and there is something about keeping all your music in the one place as a check box, i'd find the link but i'm lazy, and i updated my quicktime and itunes shit it's self. hope this helps.

i've a 250 gb hard drive usb 2.0, 500 gb hard drive usb 2.0, and 1tb hard drive usb 2.0 and eSATA, and i use them SO GODDAMN MUCH.
hell, theoretically, i could just remove my internal and run my OS and everything on the eSATA one without slowdown.
everyone should get one if they can.

Music over Matter
Or three?
They can be used to speed up systems as well, if I'm not mistaken.
