KKM UT

It all started when Rory Cooke (aka Bartard) of Shiznay.tk made a 3D model of the KKM guy and turned it into a skin for UT2004. Soon the both of us made some more skins, and I tried to rediscover my old UnrealEd skills. I installed GameCam to be able to get some video footage. And there we have it. A 3D KKM video clip AND the possibility to PLAY KKM!!! Or if you just spectate a deathmatch of KKM bots using one of the KKM maps I made... you have endless KKM movies!!!
Anyways.
The skins and maps are to be found in the downloads section.
The movie can be seen here.

Wow! Awesome work Manuel and bartard, really original and unique idea. Awesome animation and skins, How did you film it, somekind of software? edit: noticed the div x icon now.

Gotta get myself UT2004...one day...

I filmed it using a software called GameCam. Then I cut all the video footage together using PowerDirector Pro (some amateurish video editing software)

OK, I've got somekind of instant print screen software so I can watch movies in MS Paint!

Nifty.

I'd prefer like.. a background instead of all the whiteness. But then again it would probally take away what you wanted to get across when you wanted to show off the revolving 3d animations. WOoooOoo.
A bit amateurish but good none-the-less.

It looks chaotic, the first kkm's sort of had a story, it could use that :)
But it's a cool idea.
Order, symmetry, discipline and balance.

you know, getting all the whiteness was one of the hardest things to accomplish. well it would have been easier if I had remembered the "unlit" property earlier...

yeah, "story" is something that is hard to accomplish when you only work with a bunch of bots that basically are just after... killing everything in sight. Having some sort of consistency by cutting fitting scenes together and using various mutators (like sniper area, game time, etc) was as much as I got do at the moment being.

its white because the original kkm flash movies were white
but true the background is pretty much a non event.

the game models and movie are really aimed at existing kkm fans. I mean I'm hardly going to win awards for sticking together some 'primitive' shapes.

wow manual love the work on this one :twisted: you know youd get alot more people buying stuff from your web site if you had like html video codes and html advertisment codes for all the videos because these videos are awsum man and they'd be really cool if you could post them on like stuff like myspace.com
