Going 3D - Rusty Tickfly

This work was created for an assignment in 3D animation class. Don't expect any plot whatsoever as I'm still in an early process of learning... just sit back, relax and enjoy the ride.

I rode that baby hard and long, pretty good ride.

Cool, but your flashes are way better. What software did you use? Lightwave?
@ardy, I don't know about you but I couldn't really see that it was a tick on the screenie :P

Softimage XSI, see credits ;)

I'm aware that my flashes are better, but how shall I put it...

6 years experience with Flash > 1 year experience with 3D stuff

Was the moving object suppose to collide with the wall a few times in there? How about a little bit more Background info, like what you plan to do with this knowledge?

assignment in 3D animation class do you have a cool facultie or what :)


Some minor texture aplying errors.. actualy I just noticed one when I was about 70% through the tunnel but fuck that you got your animation right :)
Order, symmetry, discipline and balance.

That was pretty sweet. Nice animation when the fly shot out of the tunnel, and nice textures and stuff. Its always nice to spread your knowledge bout stuff, so its cool that your learing all kinds of different amimation techniques.

Oh, and of course..
