New AV program...

Postby Schnabel von Rom » Sun Jan 16, 2005 3:09 pm

After I installed Norton Systemworks 2005 on my computer, I get the message "Runtime error, Would you like to debug? Line:2, No access" everytime I go to a new topic, new page, post reply...
What do I have to do to fix it?

Uninstall Norton. Or just disable it while you're at the boards.

Tried that, but it's not the AV that's blocking it, it just started to show up after I installed it...

maybe norton changed some of your browser's setting.

if you're using InternetExplorer go to Extras => Internet Options => Extended (not sure if it's called like that in english) => There should be a bunch of checkboxes (browsing, underline links etc.) one of them being "Display Script-Errors" (or something like that). Maybe this checkbox is checked?

Thanks, now it works. You were right about that the box was cheked, but after I installed Norton Firewall 2003 today, it got uncheked automaticly. Seems like you know everything about Internet Explorer, it's not the first time you help me out with "problems" with my browser...
