El Garbage Dump

My suggestion for this website is that when mods dump topics, do they always need to lock them? I mean, there are some downright retarded threads that should just die, but the mildly stupid ones could still be interesting to post in out of the way of the public eye/eye of the uninterested. Also, I think it would be cool if normal members could make threads in the dustbin.

On another forum I saw the dump called the toilet. Rather than banning people all together, the obnoxious were banished to splash around in there for a while.

I'm cool with the idea of leaving some threads open but I'm not sure about being able to create threads. It would be madness.

However I'd be fine with mods leaving threads unlocked before dumping them. I'll leave it up to you guys though.
