Every Other Goddamn Time

About half the times I log in, I find myself in a quasi-state of half-logged-in-ness and half-logged-out-ness. On the top of the page it says "Log in" instead of "Log out [Anarch]," but at the bottom of the page it lists "Anarch" as one of the online members, while at the same time the fields for logging in still appear below that. I can't post or view new posts. When I use those fields to log in, I find myself logged in, with my most recent visit listed as seconds ago, and none of the new posts highlighted. I have to manually search through each forum, trying to gauge whether a post was made before my last log-out or not.

Psh. That happens every time I log in here. Always gotta log in twice. Fuckin' annoying.

Or at least it would be if I visited half as often as I used to.

Anyway, I am curious as to the cause...

I get that when I used IE. When I use FF, the thing goes fine.

I only rarely get that and it's only after I've been away for a while. And if I've been away for too long my cookies aren't saved at all.

I use Firefox. And to be honest, it doesn't actually happen that often to me. I just noticed it the other day when I made this thread because it happened to me three times over the course of as many days. I think it was just bad luck.

But I would like to know why it does that.

Actually, it just did it to me again. I'd really like somebody to clear this up for us.

Double Post Necessary

It happened again. Seriously. This needs to be explained and dealt with. It is a huge inconvenience.

You know, it must be a MD thing, because google showed up almost zilch when searched.

Although when this was discussed before, I think it had to do something with how it was bookmarked. Something about www, if I remember right.

It happens to me on occasion. But I have my 'top set to auto login. So I don't have to worry 'bout it.

Today's the first time in months it didn't do it to me.

I'm starting to think I'm never going to be able to log in normally again. I don't know why it's suddenly started doing it so much more frequently to me. I guess I'm just going to have to get used to going through the threads looking for new posts manually.

Nobody likes you, either.

On a positive note, it didn't happen when I logged in this time.

Only think I could think of, would be you cleaning up your cache, but I guess you've already done that. I'm not exactly sure what the cause is, it has happened to other people before but not to me.
