I think there was a book made that (at least) resembles the unholy book. Anyone with the capabilities of magick could've wrote dark/negative spells inside a book. The myths that the pages were crafted with human skin and written with blood, I believe are completely fictional.

Yes, I am a believer of these dark arts, but I do not practice that path.

I've read all the books of the Wheel of Time, and am eagerly awaiting the last one. Yea, it starts out UNGODLY slow, but it does get much more interesting. Just beware the first chapters, they drag on forever before something interesting happens.

This thread is a wrong turn in and of itself.

I doubt you've ever read anything past the 9th grade level. Short of required school reading.

I'm pretty sure Lovecraft said shit tonnes of times that although he'd referred to the necronomicon, he'd just made it up and no such book ever existed. Then apparently someone wrote one using ideas from Lovecrafts work, or something.
Well, thats what I heard, and it sounds about likely. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, anyone.

Ok then, smart-ass. Show us a picture of this "rewritten" version and then we'll talk from there. Otherwise, you're straight up talking out of your ass.

It's because Eschatos isn't a moron who puts faith in something he can't acclaim to exist without defining proof, or perhaps it's the fact that you not only acknowledge existence of dark arts but also state that you follow another path.

The statement was just pretty moronic on the whole. You used "dark arts" and "follow that path" in the same sentence without being ironic.

There are different paths to take. I'm not going into detail about my personal beliefs. Faith in something is enough to believe it works. You can put down my beliefs all you want, your comments will not alter what I believe.

All I'm saying is that I honestly find interest in the unknown, supernatural and unpredictable. It keeps things interesting to me.

It's not the beliefs themselves, but that there is no proof or evidence that would lead to these beliefs being considered reasonable.

I shall refrain from any comment involving religion, thank you. Except this one, cuz I love no comment posts.

Things un-explained happen every day. You don't have to have facts to know that it happened. Religion on it's own is un-explainable. Things just happen. Sometimes you can't change that.

Edit: I don't comment negatively on any of your beliefs, so I would appreciate the same. The point in religion is believing in either something that will save you from life or believing in something unable to be explained.

Facts are the basis of knowledge, so yes, I do need facts to know something happened. There is an explanation for everything, it just hasn't been found yet.
I wasn't attempting to comment negatively on your beliefs, I was just pointing out that they were being spoken poorly of because of the lack of logic involved. Believing in something that can't be proven to make yourself feel better seems to me to be completely pointless (and yes, rather funny).

I think it would be fun for Sol to thoroughly explain his beliefs, and what he means by "unexplained" things happening.

I doubt Sol's beliefs would make much less sense than anyone elses. Imagine how differently our world would turn out if it wasn't for religion. Religion wasn't created because it was funny, it was created because certain people needed it, whether for something to believe in or for a way to control others.
Things would be just as messed up if we all believed in the same things as Esch as if we all believed in the same things as Sol.
