My first definition came from the dictionary.

My second from the Urban dictionary where there were some 23 different definitions.

Look it up yourselves. A very controversial word.

That was the reason for the first thing my post said...

Oh Fuck.

Anarch, I'm talking to you.

This, too.

"1. a person who refuses to conform, as to established customs, attitudes, or ideas. 2. (often cap.) a Protestant in England who is not a member of the Church of England; dissenter."

(Random House Webster's College Dictionary, McGraw-Hill Edition, 1991)

Also, I did not find your second definition anywhere on Urbandictionary, either among the 21 definitions offered for "non-conformist" or the 1 definition offered for "non-conformity."

It's not the case that you are a conformist.

If it's not the case that you are a conformist, then you are a conformist.

You are a conformist

Quoted for truth.

(Dictionary.com)
1. a person who refuses to conform, as to established customs, attitudes, or ideas.
The definition of nonconformist goes against human nature; we are a social bunch and thus naturally care about what people think (even if you want them to think that you don't care about what they think). In addition, every human being that has learned any sort of social norm and follows it is a conformist. You've learned how to speak the language of the people around you, you're a conformist.

Also if you follow laws and go to school or work etc, you're a conformist.
Its a good thing.

Arsenicjellybean's name leads me to think (s)he knows Frosty. His/her personality helps too.

The name I chose has nothing to do with anyone, it was some nonsense I thought up a few years ago and I've used it as screenname since.

Briefly, perhaps, but we had a conversation on MSN about the nickname and I forever relate the word to you now.

Personal connotations have nothing to do with others, especially people that you don't know personally.

This is embarrassing.
So I've realized that pet names are essentionally affectionate nouns - Such as; honeybuns, sugarpie...kittentits.

How old were you when you joined? Don't know why but I always pegged you as late 20's or mid 30's.

You should be, it really was meant as a compliment. Not that age necessarily dictates maturity, but you've always seemed mature. You aren't much older than me though.

Put that away, Frosty.
