No !!! Do you know where it is?

I'm only a level 4 and I tried to do this quest that said I had to be at least a level 20. That kind of blew me away.

I'm playing Oblivion. I finished Fallout 3 but I think some here are still playing Fallout so I guess there is talk of both.

I don't remember the quest but yeah you have to be level 10. Just google a walkthrough, it's been too long since i played it.

that's the best way to play unless you're done "experiencing" the world and just want to get 100% completion. talking games in general, haven't played oblivion.

Should try it =) It's not only a game, it's also like this beautiful virtual reality sim of beautiful medieval and mythical landscapes!

It's pretty, but I want it to look more real.

Everytime someone mentions the Skeleton key I start thinking about the movie with the same title. What a waste of money that was invested into making that piece of shit.

Obviously.

But she was talking about my computer.

Yes Voly I was. I still work on computers and the best way to upgrade any machine is to add memory and keep upgrading your video card. I kept doing that on my old machine and that little machine would run games the manufacturer said would never happen.

Try it once. You may be very surprised.

My home PC is a crap heap, nothing short of a full reformat would fix it, and I'm not allowed to do that.

My laptop is NOT a gaming computer.

Not that I'd PC game either way, I really really do prefer console gaming.

Is reformat a word like irregardless? :)

How about a format and reload instead?

I don't own a console and my puter screen is bigger than my TV. :(

I have been watching TV on my puter for so long now I find I like it better because I can see every hair and blemish on the actors.

My old computer had two extremely valuable MS Word documents on it, and it's currently stored in my basement, having crashed due to some horrific virus or something. I desperately need those two files recovered.

get a live disc, ubuntu is most used these days, but maybe a distro with an antivirus in it would be better. scan and copy the files to an external <flash drive/hard drive/cd/dvd/floppy/blu-ray/sd card> (cross out that which does not apply).

1. When you reach level 10, approach the shrine, in leyawin and you'll be asked to recover the Eye of Nocturnal from a pair of thieves.
2. Ask around Leyawiin to find out that the thieves are Argonians living in town.
3. Find the thieves, and speak to them. You will receive a quest message instructing you to eavesdrop on their conversation.
4. Overhear their discussion to learn the Eye is in Tidewater Cave. Recover the artifact, and return it to the shrine.
5. Upon your return, you are rewarded with the Skeleton Key.

Thanks Ash, I'm going to copy that post and send it to myself in an e-mail. :) I have been out killing bandits and I now have 23 lockpicks. I'm getting better at it but sometimes it still takes me 15 minutes to open a hard lock... big pain in the ass.

Anarch, pull the hard drive from your old puter, set it up as a slave, the jumpers are on the back, and connect it in your new puter as a slave. You should be able to at least open the old drive and drag and drop the files you want to the new puter. It should be simple and fast.
