Damn all this Fallout 3 talk has forced me to reload the game and continue playing because I never finished it.

The Orange Box is pretty legit. IGN called it the best videogame deal of all time. If you get the PC version the games included are "Half-Life 2, two separate additional chapters of the game, Portal, and TF2. But you've probably heard my rant before

No, I'm of no major religion. In fact, I don't believe in mass religions.

Organized religion is silly.

that would be certain wiccan groups. mistakenly believing they're part of an ancient pagan religion rather than something some guy made up to make money sometime in the early 1900's.
either that or some nudist colonies, of the remaining ones a few are quite zealous.

raccoon skin cap?

@topic
would it be too much to ask for a replacement in body? keep the looks, they're fine. but i'd like actually working parts. intestines that keep shouting you're dying whenever you take a bite are NOT conductive to proper eating habits.

I love the Jehovah's witnesses. They're so true to scripture, even if they do misinterpret a few verses here and there. If I were going to be a christian, I would be a Jehovah's witness.

You can do it in front of a camera, instead. They pay you for that.

Without a doubt, she being a she is in and of itself more interesting. Her age makes it illegal, though, I believe. At least for a few months.

I could be wrong, but I can imagine Shoshie doing quite a bit for some MD stickers.

that would depend on where you're from, really.

the whole sticker thing made me think.

hery, how much would it cost to send the really active members of MD say 5 stickers? or even 10?

It'd be illegal for her, I'm almost certain. I wasn't too worried about the viewers.

well, i know there have been occurrences where a girl sending nude pictures to her boyfriend have left her with a child pornography charge.
i don't think i'd let that stop me though, such things are rather rare.
now the whole "still findable when i want to get a job as a teacher or daycare supervisor or neuroscientist" thing would bother me though.

?
what definition of agnostic do you use then?
if you believe in the non-existence of all gods, then you're not agnostic, no?
some atheists are as sure there is no god as christians are there is one.

The idea of KNOWING there is no such thing as a god is akin to KNOWING there is no such thing as a teapot orbiting the sun between Earth and Mars. It is illogical to disprove that which does not exist, and any hard thinking atheist knows this, thus aligning themselves with both terms. The world atheist only means "no religion", not "belief in no gods". It is not a belief, but the lack thereof.

Those that name themselves purely agnostic often do so to both avoid the stigma of the term atheism, and the illogical idea of disproving something that is nothing. And they think all atheists believe for sure there is no god.

"any hard thinking atheist" makes you sound like you're thinking all or even most atheists are hard thinking.
you can be atheist and believe that there is no god. if you're agnostic you leave the question open. so while there's probably a big overlap, not all atheists are agnostic.

You can't be a true atheist unless you believe that god can be disproven, either by logical/philosophical/theological methods or by experimentation. Although I have used logical/philosophical/theological methods to determine that I do not believe in god, I concede that it is impossible to actually and objectively disprove him using such methods. Therefore, I am both an atheist and an agnostic.

Honestly, I don't think I can say I'm either. There's a religion out there for me, I just haven't found it. The closest I've found is LaVeyan Satanism.

My point being that you cannot disprove that which does not exist, thus anyone who actually gives deep enough thought to the matter would always consider themselves agnostic. The leap between the two is whether you believe a god is likely possible, rather than improbable.

Anarch wrote:You can't be a true atheist unless you believe that god can be disproven, either by logical/philosophical/theological methods or by experimentation.

Then your definition of atheism is different from mine. Seemingly you are saying that atheism is the belief that there is nothing. Whereas I consider it the lack of belief in something. I'm not saying your wrong, though.
