Rain Effect

Postby -Hobey-Ho- » Tue Feb 01, 2005 5:30 am

I am trying to make a scene where a character in a cloak is running through a forest and it is raining. I've looked all over the internet and I can't seem to find a tutorial for rain and a scrolling background. Does anyone know where I could find these tutorials?

scrolling backround= make the enitire length of your forest and put it into a symbol. then tween its motion so that it moves past the character/screen so that it makes the illusion that the character is moving. the faster the forest is moving the faster it will seem that the character is moving (see below)

raining i believe is just using alpha to dim something and have it appear on the screen if thats what you're going for

but dont quote me on that one
Under the spreading chesnut tree
I sold you and you sold me:
There lie they, and here lie we
Under the spreading chestnut tree.
