Impulsively dumping these here.

Guise I'm really uninspired at the moment. Last month I went through this totally awesome patch where I was all able to think and write shit and it was awesome but lately I haven't been able to. I wrote some Shakespearean sonnets but they're all kind of rushed and slightly rubbish and if you guys could give me some criticisms and advice etc so I could get back into it and fix these and move on and do other stuff I'd love you guys for it <3
I am blaming the fact that I'm sharing poetry I've written for the first time on the fact that I'm tired as hell, but fuck it I'm doing it anyway.
Right then.

Ridiculous, frankly, to think that he,
Blinded by cold sunshine and social ties,
Could think their cute co-existence could be
An ongoing problem. To my surprise,
His wide-eyed hope, and tragic love-struck glow
Persisted through an entire season
Without encouragement. How could he know,
Given a typical loss of reason
Symptomatic of the crippling disease
Of blind adoration without logic,
That her mind and her eyes were far from these
"Feelings" of his, but shrouded by a thick
Veil of deliberate ignorance
Sewn from regret of one coincidence.

It seems that the moon can sway the wicked
On a heated summer night. The cold air
Of God-fearing, crazed, ethically crooked,
Helpless creatures overwhelmed by despair,
Chills the minds of those outside the killing
Jar, and the hope of those within it. Three
Victims grow to six, as people willing
To throw anyone to the fire see
To the creation and destruction of
Monsters grown from children and guileful speech,
In the name of Justice and Christian love.
Right to a fair trial placed out of reach
Of three boys by the discovery mess,
Media, and tricks to make kids confess.

What could lead me to believe, tired and
Discontent, that the starlight of sleep could
Still shine through my eyes. Don't misunderstand,
Love, light and grace had their place but they would
Never quite pierce that look of wonderment
That cut through space and never thought to break,
While our minds, both silent and eloquent,
Were putting no immortal lives at stake.
Changing our lives to some extent? I never
Expected contentment to set in for
More than a years unrest. Did I ever
Find myself deceived that anything more
Than an eclipse of the worlds attention
Had triggered something we'll never mention?

PS: I'm sure you can guess what the second ones about :P

Never noticed this thread; never told me it was new or had new posts.

I like them all, particularly the one that's obviously NOT about the WM3.

 Thanks. Out of curiosity, which one, other than the second one, did you think might be about the WM3?

I wrote a poem about ants. It sounds kind of mean and made me realise that while I hate having ants in my house, I don't really hate them as much as I thought I did. I suppose. I don't know. I might try and write something else about them that is more poetic and less rant like just 'cause.

Yes, its another Shakespearean sonnet. I will break out of this rhyme scheme eventually.
Criticisms please, if anyone actually reads it this time.

---
A legion! Sweet, sugary, sticky things,
A repugnant, syrupy mess last night,
Formed the gross source to which this army clings
Smelling rotting, stinking trash with delight!
The heart of it all coated in creatures
Flowing like blood to the ends of the room,
A mess, which among other things, features
The bitter scent of "food" fresh from the womb.
A horde of hoarding horrors hive in hives,
Thriving unaware of our malicious
Intentions to end their myriad lives.
Bug spray in hand, I know we seem vicious -
We'll deal with the filth that made them infest -
Once we stem the flow of those we detest.

Other than the whole thing? None of it.

...huh? Point I'm making is that the second one is the only one about the WM3, so I was wondering which of the first and third you thought might also be as well.

I thought they all were, but I was using sarcasm. Then I did it again. But it was nigh undetectable. I need to stop posting when I'm tired.
