Sinate. Best band Ive seen this year. And Ive seen quite a few bands this year. Sam and Matt Shepard are the Kings of NZ metal. Theyve not only been in Sinate but also 8 Foot, been involved with bands like Tainted, produce albums for other metal bands, stood up for the guy that was getting beat up for no reason and are just generally awesome.
And the rest of the band too :D
They only have two albums but I love them.

I like Elysia, Check out their song incinerate. Sorry lol, umm.. Killswitch Engaged Version of Holy Diver was awsome. Coal Chamber kicks ass. Lamb of God is fuxing insane but they are considered nu metal, correct? Umm... Rammstien (spl? damnit) Drowning Pool, Black Stone Cherry, Trivium, System of a Down/Serj Tankian. Umm.. Getting out of strict Category.. Chevelle, Dragonforce, Yngwie Malmsteem, Saliva, Linkin Park. Lol TECHNO!

lamb of god are kind of thrash/groove, far away from nu-metal. coal chamber, soad, drowning pool, linkin park.. these are all nu-metal. not being a genre-nazi, just letting you know since you brought it up.

But everyone was talking about Heavy Metal.

And unless I was mistaken I swear their record label said Lamb of God were Nu Metal.

nu-metal is only metal by name. it is actually more like over-simplified, overly down-tuned and distorted (for the "heavy" effect) rock music. actually closer to grunge than it is metal.

Metal and techno are mostly my kinds of music. Everything else can die. I'm not on drugs, but I kinda act like I am on drugs...sometimes. The Techno has to have lyrics though, or else I won't listen to it. If the music seems pointless, I'm not going to listen to it. And I like pretty much all metal. I'm usually just locked up in my room listening to SIRIUS Hard Attack. (If you people don't have satellite radio, go get it!)
Yay! My signature sucks!

You need to do something about your name.

If you haven't heard already from someone else.

Let it rest, Demos. You only need to say it once and this is the second time I've seen you do it.

You're going to get killed at most shows of those bands, soldier.

Lmao. Emo's make my side hurt. <3

Anywho, I listen to basically everything [Emo, Screamo, Metal, Techno, Dance Dance, "Rock", "Christian", and anything in German, etc]

I like to keep an opened-mind to everything, but yeah some metal bands I like;

System of A Down, Atreyu, Deluded, and some others I can't really say off the top of my head.

"Christian" isn't music. It's propaganda.

.-. That's sort of why I put quotes around it, I knew someoen would say something about it, but I'm calling it y the name it was given even if you think differently of it.

esch, i've heard some decent christian metal, you just need to ignore the lyrics.
still, it's that i hear any good christian metal.
classical music with a christian streak can be brilliant though, most classic classical music is actually just that, what with the times in it was made and all.
