Bands & Artists You Can't Stand

Postby Spaced Ape » Wed Oct 26, 2005 7:03 pm

List 'em, rant about 'em, stick 'em in a stew. Here is a thread made for the noobs. Don't need yah to bother making a thread about the hate, or a thread just for the sake of it.

Christian rock bands, your not "rock". You're not even remotely close to the term. Go back to church choir where you can sing to your heart's content. Your a shallow pool of meaningless talent that attains money from telling others how you love Jesus more than anyone else. I can't wait for christian rap so maybe then artists will kill each other over who has more love for their God. Raping the greatest form of music ever is a crime against humanity and you should all be crucified.

:note: This only includes the bands who only talk about their religion. If a band has maybe a small number of songs where they speak about their faith and the rest are true rock songs, then I'm ok with them. If they perhaps refer to their religion a couple times during a song then I'm ok with it.

And anyone who says they listen to mostly christian music needs to be slapped awake. There are plenty of very good bands out there that aren't christian bands, don't limit yourself because of a belief. God Dammit!

(now, if you meant today's country, which has been the same slide guitars and goofy voices the past 10-15 years, then I agree.)

any boy band ever, even if I've never heard of them
Country music with the exception of a few old songs that I listened to when I was little, you just can't forget songs like that, or I can't anyways, though I rarely listen to them anymore.
Hilary Duff, Britney Spears, Lindsey Lohan, any music like theirs

coheed and cambria, after first hearing them I turned the music off and thought that they wouldn't last five minutes and be forgotten, but it seems they have a huge fanbase by now.

1) any band that calls themselves and their fanbase punk, but they aren't
2) any band that talks about how their middle class life sucks and cutting their veins with chainsaws
3) rap used to be good, but nowadays it's blargh
4) any band that sounds like nightwish, they'e just stupid
5) and almost every band on MTV. Ha, it cracks me up when bands diss mainstream media on MTV.

People who scream mindless, inunderstandable crap. Guitars and a microphone don't mean it's music. It's just fucking screaming. If we wanted to hear your screaming about your Satanic pinnapple, we would ask.
I don't know half of you half as much as I would like, and I don't like half of you half as much as you deserve.
