what the fuck are you talking about. how can you call hip hop redundant and then turn around and say you like rap. your logic makes no sense whatsoever. rap would not exist without hip hop.

rapping is the vocal style. hip hop is the music style.

I like the vocal style.

I dislike the music style.

When I read that, I thought it said rapists. Haha.

Um.

Good question. To which I have no answer. I'm not really "into" rap. But some of my friends are into the rap/hip hop stuff, and when they listen to it I enjoy some of it.

I know I like Jay-Z. Lol.

@topic, ABBA.

Rap...and Country, two things, that when taken separately and in small doses, are just fine. Yet for some reason people seem to think that the shit that has managed to claw its way out of their speakers 24/7 is good. I suggest a simple, and effective plan, I will t-bag each of them until they feel like an idiot, and i get off, because that's just a win-win.

i don't think thread necromancy in this thread is such a bad thing, and the last post wasn't even that long ago.

I get ya; personally I just don't think there's much discussion to be had here at all anyway.

I'll just stay out of it.

I hate Lil' Wayne, and basically every other rapper/ hip-hop artist. They always steal a song from a band who people hardly hear about, or some old school song no one really cares about. Like, I have no clue who does it but they stole the song "Numa Numa" and turned it into something beside the point of the song, they even messed up the lyrics to it which probably messed up what it said since it is in another language.

Not all rappers do this, just plenty of modern mainstream "hip-hop" (or as I like to call it, "shit-hop"). There is good rap out there, just look for it.

Hell at about your age is about when I got into ICP, and you look to be the type. Check your PM box.
