No idea who either of them are.
Is there a promised land
Or am I on the journey going to nowhere?
Are the streets paved with gold
Or am I slipping on the mold that slowly grows there?

plus 44 is mark and travis's band and angels and airwaves is tom's band, they're basically the members of blink 182 but in their separate bands now.

Hearing some of blink's latest stuff as well as some of their sideprojects I'd like to say they really aren't living up to their potential...

I've heard Angels and Airwaves. I personally think that Tom DeLonge is having a midlife crisis. And no I dont like them. I havent even heard of plus 44.

im a fan of both of them, AVA more so...

Thomas DeLonge is simply doing what he had been wanting to in blink..
but with the majority of the band not agreeing (Travis and Mark he wasn't able to, therefore tension arose causing the bands hiatus, Thomas Never Wanted The Band to Come To An End(Blink 182))

So He Started A New Band, Although He Doesn't Call It A Band As Such...He Refers To It As A Movement, With Two Albums The Band Is Settling In For The Long Run... AVAs music has the ability to talk to people, change a mood, create an overwhelming feeling of hope.

Plus 44 on the other hand seemed to have followed down the blink side of music, with the more traditional poppy sound blink were known for, this doesn't mean there lyrics have to be the same...if you listen to lyrics and think about it, its written about Tom.

Plus 44 have taken a more relaxed sorta feel to their music, where as AVA is as serious as george bush is dedicated to oil.

AVA is a more fan interactive band, with there website being completly fan orientated, with the feature of modblast where you can have instant messaging conversations, and Modcam where you can see them!!

So Yeah, Both Bands Are Amazing!!

I have to agree that I highly enjoy Blink. As for the side projects, I like them both, but Plus 44 is my favorite by far, if for nothing else, the simple fact that they remind me of a long gone blink 182. AVA are well put together, and alot of my friends prefer it to +44, but it just doesn't work for me.

demos, don't follow his advice, or any lone member.
if a group is telling you not to do something, they're usually right though.
usually.
still, i agree with frost.

I'll be sure to remember that bit of advice. I won't be listening to other people unless I agree with them anyway, but, it was an old thread, and I figured that he was probably right about nobody caring anymore. :D
