It was originally by Marilyn Manson, but the Rasputina version of Tourniquet is eerily hypnotizing.

I've been listening to Livin' in the Sunlight Lovin' in the Moonlight by Tiny Tim and have decided that if I ever go bat shit insane and have a violent torture/murder spree, that is the song I'm doing it to. I'M SO HAPPY AHA! HAPPY GO LUCKY ME!

-The singer even looks like a pedophile serial killer.

It's a while that I'm avoiding chillout music due to my excessive indifference and [as the genere's called] - "chilling".

Further more, I kinda' "stopped" being emotional, deliberately, mostly because I had just about enough of [emo] being so passive and getting my feelings hurt all the time [/emo] that I, rather than chilling and contemplating intelligent lyrics, preferr listening to old-skool bad-boy sh*t like them Limp Bizkit hits and stuff like that.

So, my "feeling the music" would be pumping up some energy, any kind of energy, to keep my motors running.. otherwise I'll drop dead.

I don't count "feeling" Tom Waits cuz every time I put on Alice by the end of the album I was drunk.

I really don't care if it was made by a poser.
It's music and I believe noone has the reason to shoot me if I listen to it.
And I do, every now and then, because it's stupid, shallow and overrated.

To avoid misunderstanding..
I don't listen to LB because I LOVE it.
I listen to it beacause I don't want to think through anti-something, social movement and riot lyrics.
I listen to it because recently (it's just a period, it'll pass) I don't want to give a fuck about anything.

For my actual music taste please check the favourite bands topic.

It's not that I give a fuck, but I really don't want to seem a poser.
I just got here.
Like me now, hate me later.

My generation is ok, but nothing I listen to now. Just like with Linkin Park, I loved them when I was younger. I actually bought a pair of Adidas sneakers because Fred Durst wore them, but they're like 7 sizes too small now.

As a Slipknot fan, I hate Durst because he refers Slipknot fans as "the fat ugly kids". Therefore he is a fag

Don't forget fat and ugly

Would Slipknot be good for lifting weights? That's pretty much what I do in my spare time now, and I'm getting bored by picking out the same artists of the hard genres that I have on my hd.

They got fast and hard stuff, slow stuff and bizarre stuff (most intros)

Wait & Bleed, [SiC], My Plaque, Surfacing, Spit It Out, The Heretic Anthem and People = Shit are pretty ruff from the beginning to the end, if that's what you are looking for

@hunted daemon

Good thread to revive, bad way to revive it.
_____

Sexy Sadie, the Beatles - I just really groove when I listen to this one. I really get into the music.

Birthday, the Beatles - Whenever I listen to this song, and the chorus line "I would like you to dance" is sung, I hear my mother's voice very faintly in the background calling my name. You wouldn't hear it unless you responded to the name "Jake." It's really weird.

You Can't Always Get What You Want, the Rolling Stones - My mother always sang this to me when I was very little. I always try to keep it in mind.

Triviums "Pull Harder on the Strings of Your Martyr" always gets me pumped up. They are sublime!
