New Nine Inch Nails record free for download <3

Postby HeRetiK » Mon Mar 03, 2008 1:00 pm

As some of you might know Trent Reznor has been without a label for several months now. So what does this mean for us? He's exploring new ways of distribution.

One being, that his new record is available for download now. As both a "full" version of 36 tracks for $5 and a free version with 9 tracks. In high quality, various digital formats, DRM free.

I love you, Trent.

damn, it seems like just yesterday he released "year zero". can't help but feel if he took his time he could produce another classic along the lines of "the fragile".

@ ardizt, use bittorrent. the official release is here:

Not to mention Year Zero Remixed and The Inevitable Rise and Liberation of NiggyTardust by Saul Williams (Trent has produced it and features on a couple of songs - free download as well)

I'm dowloading now and I am very excited, though I also think Trent has been suspiciously productive lately. Can't complain though. Looks like the full package contains new graphics and stuff. I wonder if this is the post-apocalyptic "sequel" to Year Zero that I've read about.

Edit: I fucking ejaculated when I saw the pdf booklet. It contains some of the most awesome photography I've seen lately. Just the style I dig.

i wasn't aware of this year zero remix album, but i do love me some saul williams. (and recommend anybody checking out his stuff)

i have to say i'm enjoying this release a lot more than "year zero", got a real nice ambient instrumental feel. trent has always been great at instrumental tracks, so it only makes sense to produce a record with nothing but, although some people will probably be disappointed with it. i say fuck those people.

FUUUUUUUCK!

The hyperultramega limited 300$ box is already sold out. Only 2500 were made, all signed by Trent himself. I envy the one who get no. 1. Since I've only bought less than 10 CDs in my life I really considered this one for a second. I will maybe order the 75$ though.

Well I just downloaded the free one, listened to the whole thing, and put it on my mp3 player.

sombra - Which one are you trying to get?

The free one.

I'm not so computer savvy as the other people on here, so it's most likely human error.

OK. Check it, click download, enter your email twice (same one), enter the security code, click the button, go to your email, wait for the site's email to get to you with the link, follow the link, and click the link of the page that pops up.

If you run into any trouble along the way, I'll see if I can help figure it out.

If you did exactly what I said, I'm confused but I'll see what I can figure out...

I'll be damned, it finally worked after a few tries. No idea what made it work this time, but I'm glad it did.

Yeah, I've actually been thinking about using one of Ghosts' tracks since it's parts of the CC anyways. However none of the tracks have led me to a nice idea yet.

The only song that I have found by NIN that I like is The Hand That Feeds
Aut Viam Inveniam Aut Faciam.
