Limewire has a catchy and memorable name. Its emblem looks cooler too. That's why it owns KaZaA.

come on, if ANY place is quick with scene releases it's usenet.
downloading is quick, and you can find stuff there you can't elsewhere.
the fact that most things aren't available long unless you buy for a server with long retention is a bitch though, of course.

The "how to" videos on youtube are gettin' more and more ridiculous (not sayin' that some aren't helpful).

And beware with torrent. One of my pals told me in how much shit you could get. There's an option how you can hide the ip (don't know if that's enough, though).
