I saw it yesterday.

But why the hell make a topic about something you haven't seen or aren't that interested in seeing anytime soon?
"So i don't care about this movie but its such a contravercial thing. jeez. Wow, so what do you guys think about something I don't care about?"

...
Yeah, It was an OK movie. I thought it was going to be good. It didn't suck, that much.. but the movie is waaay too long. I can understand that some movies need extra time in explaning things, yadda yadda.. but I swear the movie was gonna end like 4x and I was ready to go, but it didn't stop.
I wanted to get the hell out of there. It just kept going.. oh my gawd.

It did bring up some interesting topics, and it was obvious they tried to put way too many twists in the movie that just ruined the movie overall. And they didn't want too many people to get mad about some things, so they tried making it friendly and non-offending to those who do believe in paticular religions, especially Christianity.
I recommend reading the book instead.

Spoiler: ((Don't highlight to read if you don't want to spoil any part of the movie, right..))
I did find it funny when Silas(sp?) knocked the nun right the fuck out. That's the first movie in a long time I've seen someone get away with hitting a woman, a nun, nevertheless. Not just hitting, but knocking her the fuck out. hahahaha

Silas was verrryy interesting looking, extremely creepy though. @_@

I thought it was awesome when the servant of the old guy was like "I can run over them?" hehehe awesome

I saw it today. It wasn't too bad, but some parts were incredibly predictable (and I haven't read the book yet). The ending I figured out about 20 minutes before it happened.

In response to Syn's spoiler:

Albinos do have and interesting look that looks cool and mysterious. However, it was nasty how he kept torturing himself.

The crippled guy also amused me when said, "And if you won't let us through, you can shoot us....starting with him!"

what Syn and Sombra Cristalina have written in black makes it sound kinda interesting but I think that the Da Vinci code is one of those books that shouldnt become a movie.
And no I havent seen it.

Lol Paul Bettany was the stand out performer. Movie sucked, it lacked pace. And needed better performances from the actors.

After you read the book or watch the movie, watch a documentary called cracking the da vinci code. It makes it all seem so pathetic.

I have a love-hate relationship with discovery, national geographic, history, and so on channels. They go on and on about christianity without touching ANYTHING ELSE. Not even fuckin' Judaism. They got some good shows, but come the fuck on. This is why there are so many blind people of religion out there, if they knew how differing faith really was, they would also question there own. Which is neither a bod nor a good thing, as it can make faith stronger or weaker.

But yah...</rant>

i just saw the movie the other day. the story part was kind of yeah whatever but i really like the, not really facts but the probability of, yeah it is possible that this would have happend. and what i don't get is why christians made a big deal out of it, saying it was blasphimy. no where in that movie did anyone say anything blasphimis to "god" it's just something that was very possible. good movie, i'm about to read the book. i hope it was as good, if not better than the movie.

It's blasphemes because it shows that Jesus was human and not divine. (Which is stupid because even the bible says he's human and not divine)

It's taught that Jesus was both.

A lot of things are taught but that doesn't mean it's right. I find it suprising how many people havn't read the bible yet spew it unendlessly. Adn no, Glock, I'm not talking about you.

blasphemy:

n 1: blasphemous language (expressing disrespect for God or for something sacred) 2: blasphemous behavior; the act of depriving something of its sacred character; "desecration of the Holy Sabbath"

http://dictionary.com/

my point is that most of the charactors in the movie where "loyal christians" who said nothing "bad" or negitive about christianity and god.

and, if god was man, or devine, the main points of it all were that he was married and created a bloodline. to become married and have kids is not unatrual for a middle aged Jewish man back in those days. it was very possible, but not entirly proved.

The movie was good, but too long and disapointed me when they cut important parts out. Read the book, don't see the movie.

i haven't read the book 'yet'...
my sister still has it and she hasn't started reading it yet...
she loves to read books that's why she has lots of it in our room above her bed...

well, it's a nice movie...
the fact that i'm a Christian myself... i'm not offended though...
my friends say that i'm such an 'anti-Christ' since i stopped praying and attending Masses...
it's just that i believed more in science... i mean there are too many questions to ask when it comes to Jesus and God... and i hate it... but still... there's just about 20% out of 100% that i still believe in this crap...
