Hachiko: A Dog's Tale

Postby Satanacia » Sat May 08, 2010 11:49 am

This movie made me cry so hard. The story is amazing. I recommend it especially to dog/pet lovers. You'll love it even it is sad in the end.

In England I heard of this dog whose master died. They lowered the master into the grave and buried him. The whole time the dog sat there, howling. He howled over his master's body for three days before finally dying, right there next to his master.

Moral of the story? Any dog will howl if you put a gravestone on his tail.
I can't decide which one of us will leave here alive
Your fingers breaking as I place them over mine
The only thing I need is time
To change your mind, I said

I've got dog drama at home. 3 outta 4 little pups died in the last 5 weeks. I only have one left, and there might be something wrong with her stomach, it's heartbreaking

Aww.. I know how you feel Morph. I'm sorry to hear that.

This movie really affects me, because I lost a dog last Aug. 19. 2009. I remember I posted his picture here wearing a cone but I couldn't find it. I cried for like a week or two. Oh well that's life. They always leave, as people do. :(

what it's based on, for reference

this is why dogs are superior to cats.

i disagree, it is true that dogs are more loyal to their masters, but that doesn't make them superior.
dogs are to be loved by, cats are to love.

not really...
two winters ago, there was a cat and her kittens living in my shed. we didn't mind, until one day, when she was transporting her kitties elsewhere, she dropped one and it got stuck in our gate. she abandoned it, and we took that kitty in. i fed and slept with that kitty. he'd go to bed next to my stomach, and wake up on my face. he was about a month old, and he was so loving. when we had to give him away, after about two weeks, he cried so much, and clawed at his new owners. it was really sad.
