Yes, I knew this but in the classical period, composers wrote chamber music, among other things.

Because, as I said on the last page, its like saying "I like old music". That could refer to anything, and so its pointless to say. Especially when there are so many different ways to be more specific, either by narrowing down the period, or by saying the type of music.
