Voly wrote:Three Days Grace is a lot emo. Kind of just "rock" in genre, although that's not one of my areas of expertise as far as genres go.

Also, Wayne was ALSO saying TDG is NOT hardcore.

Arguable. Emo in lyric, but not in sound.

Emo, as far as I am concerned, is an entirely lyrical concept.

Seconded. I don't know what an "emo sound" would be.
I can't decide which one of us will leave here alive
Your fingers breaking as I place them over mine
The only thing I need is time
To change your mind, I said

holy shit.
HERY YOU HAVE TO READ THIS.

about four years ago, i think, i was on myspace, and i added mindistortion as a friend.

i was playing with the pocket emo, and i noticed it says something like 'let's go for tacos' or some shit, and i recognized it from the 'i must be emo' song.
so, i messaged the mindistortion myspace page and asked if md created the emo song.

AND I GOT A RESPONSE, OMG.
i can't get the message, but i DO remember it saying something along the lines of "haha, no, but that is where i got the line."

SHUT UP, I WAS LIKE 10, IT FELT LIKE GETTING A MESSAGE FROM A CELEBRITY.

Not true. Listen to a truly emo band's guitar, and it'll have off-chord strums, irregular picks with high notes interspersed with bass notes, and generally longer notes than most other music types.

TDG is a truly emo band. Your logic is flawed.

Also, your penis is small.

Long enough to gag you with. Which in turn means long enough to shut you the hell up.

I had to write an assignment about a short film maker/some short films. I chose Hery, asked him a bunch of questions, and then wrote about how his films connect with/contrast with each other and what that says about Hery as a film maker. I was like 16.

Remind me to not needlessly tick people off.

But, if you need a weed-whacker, we've almost finished whacking our ten acres here.
