Interesting, though perhaps a little long and drawn out to be honest.

Really? I actually cut some parts shorts to make it sync with the song. Is there any scene in particular or the overall pacing?

The video is an advertisement, and a long advertisement at that for illustrating two points. It seems drawn out in that you are basically taking 30 seconds to describe each point, and giving too much time initially to describe what each person is using as well as the switch over later.

Really there isn't enough points illustrated I think which is what I think detracts from it the video the most.

pretty cool, it was a bit long I guess.

I don't understand though, information kept in the "cloud" is still on an in building server somewhere though right? doesn't seem to make it any safer from theft, just allows for easier access from all over.

More importantly, do you animate frame by frame, like a flip book? or some other method? I'm semi interested about flash animation at the moment.

The company I made this for is especially working with companies that have smaller offices all over (think eg. store chains). Now these smaller offices are more likely to be robbed than ie. a huge data storage center. Also in the first case we're talking about a single or maybe 2-3 machines containing all the data. With cloud services the data gets replicated across many physical machines.

For this cartoon I mostly used tweens. I did some frame by frame, but it's amazing with how much you can get away when using basic animation principles like anticipation / action and squash & stretch properly.

The problem with Cloud, I'm pretty sure that other people can see what you are doing. But I'd still go with the cloud.

its good but you need a white guy telling you about cloud and shorten the whole thing unless a 1.5 minute commercial
