I lost weight by eating less and getting a paper route. With the paper route, I burned all my energy staying warm. And when you don't eat snack foods all the live long day, your weight tends to go down...

5'9" + 144 lbs.

I need to excercise myself but not to loose weight, to get into shape. I don't seem to gain all that much weight, or loose any. However, if you lounge around on a couch, desk or bed all day, you tend to get out of shape.

Playing capture the flag on an 80 yard turf field, 30 on 30 is a fucking task...

You have to sprint the entire time. Whether defending or attacking. And to attack, you must sprint faster than my top speed for 80 yards, while still dodging the crapload of people going after you.

After a summer of not much activity, I felt like I was going to collapse my pulse was so high...

And could not stop panting. Didn't really recover till maybe 45 minutes later.

..out of shape? please..practically no excersize for 2 moths has reaked havoc upon me..12 minute run around 400m feild.. i got 5.7 laps >.> (talk about outta shape) and i almost fucking puked after..PLUS we had to get weighed as part of the fitness testing.. i'm 5'2* and 110 lbs..APPARENTLY i'm too skinny.. (what the fuck?) and they want me to gain 6 pounds during the year.. >_>

You can gain 5lbs from eating one meal.
Ideally, you should be exactly 130 lbs at your height.
I should be 120/125 lbs at 5"0
I'm like 136/140 lbs from all the muscle. It says my body fat is ideal. So crap on teh muscle.

You shouldn't be ANY perfect weight or hight, so long as you aren't more/less what affects your health dramatically.
